Confraternity of Maria Santissima Addolorata and San Domenico

The rite habit of the confreres is composed as follows:

• mozzetta  black with white profiles and sewn on the left a medallion with the effigy of Our Lady of Sorrows, with the words "MATER DOLOROSA"
• gown  white with a white hood gathered on the head, which is lowered on the face during the rites of Holy Week; on that occasion it is held in place by a crown of intertwined rushes that  it evokes that of thorns that encircled the head of Jesus
• black sash with two black tassels similar to the one on the image of the Virgin
• Rosary crown tied at the waist with devotional medals
• black shoes with white rosettes and white stockings
• black hat edged with white dropped on the shoulders
• white gloves

According to the hierarchy, the mozzetta may have silver bands that distinguish administrators from simple confreres.
